SWAN 360 Retirement Planning is a Goals/Priorities/Solutions process that creates a Money Action Plan (known as MAP). This retirement planning process helps my clients transform scattered, ineffective retirement planning into values-based solutions.
Investment management is just one small piece of the retirement puzzle. I provide both holistic retirement life planning services and investment management. I educate, inform, and speak in a language that is easy to understand so you can make educated choices about your money.

The Simple Six-Step SWAN 360 Process:
- Identify your goals and manage priorities.
- Gather and organize all the information about your current financial situation.
- Analyze your current situation to see if your plan is aligned with your goals.
- Develop a personalized, written, values-based MAP appropriate for your circumstances and goals.
- Help you implement your SWAN MAP with solutions that match your risk tolerance, coordinating the plan with your chosen attorney or accountant as necessary.
- Monitor your progress on an ongoing basis to keep you on track. When circumstances change, so might your financial plan.

How Am I Compensated? I am a Fee-Based Plus Advisor
Unlike fee-only firms which are limited to money management, I provide full service retirement planning. I believe in using every available planning tool to create a customized financial plan that will best solve your needs. My goal is to reduce your exposure to risk and tax consequences while increasing your financial peace of mind.
In addition to managing investments, your needs may include insurance or investments specifically designed to protect assets or provide a lifetime of retirement income you cannot outlive. I can help.
I believe I serve my clients best by using a combination of fees and commissions. What exactly does that mean?
Fee-Based Planning: Fee compensation involves a payment of fees directly from you. I receive compensation either by check or by a defined amount deducted from your investment account on a quarterly basis. Often clients pay one fee which incorporates both planning services and money management.
- Comprehensive retirement planning and financial road maps are provided as a fee-based service. A fee is charged similar to what an attorney bills for an estate plan or an accountant charges for preparing tax returns. No asset minimums apply to the planning process.
- As an investment advisor, I charge a separate money management fee based on your quarterly account balance.
Commissions: Some retirement solutions are best met with products other than managed money. In that case, my compensation is commission-based. These products may include:
- Mutual Funds
- Life Insurance
- Long-Term Care Insurance
- Fixed Annuities
- Fixed Indexed Annuities
- Variable Annuities
I believe there are good advisors everywhere. And their designation or choice of fee structure doesn’t make them more ethical or moral than any other advisor. You deserve the power of choice.
